Praise Is What I Do

Life has a way of tearing you down if your focus is not on Jesus, and the Kingdom of God.  I'm not saying that it is an easy thing to do, because hard hits hurt; and may cause you to stumble a bit.  But I have learned to take my mind and my mouth off of my problems or situation I am dealing with, and open my mouth unto The Lord and offer a praise to Him.

Psalm 9:1 says, "I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all Thy marvelous works".  Now, it has been a very long time since my last post.  So much has happened, at one point, I wanted to give up.  But thank God for His Word!  "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world".  1 John 4:4

Once I began to use my weapons of prayer, praise, and worship; my focuse shifted from "woe as me" to "The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice".  Psalm 97:1.  It is in the time of trouble, sorrow, and hard times that we as believers must remember how God has brought us thus far.  When you can praise God in the mist of the storm, He is faithful and gracious to incline His ear to you supplication.  To praise God in sickness, when you revive that eviction notice, or pink slip on your job; shows growth of a spiritual life.  It breaks a kaotic atmostphere, removes burdens, gives us strength, and increase our faith; when we bless God for mercies.

Don't take this lightly, spiritual battle is real!  So, when you open your mouth and declare God's Word, you better be ready to stand your ground in the power and authority given to every child of God by Jesuse Christ.  Don't just take my word, stop right now and give God some praise: "Oh!  magnify The Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.  Psalm 34:3
